How do I log into Tilt if I can't access my Google account?

If you used Continue with Google to sign into Tilt in the past, but you've lost access to your work Google account, you can still log into Tilt — as long as your company does NOT enforce Google SSO. Click Forgot password? on the Tilt login page, set a Tilt password, and log in with your work email and that new password.

Who this applies to / Prerequisites

You have signed into Tilt with Continue with Google in the past.
Your work Google account was disabled (for example, during leave).
Your company does NOT enforce Google SSO in Tilt. You can tell by looking at your Tilt login page — if you see a field to enter an email and password, Google SSO is not enforced. Steps

Go to your company's Tilt login page and check what login options you see.

If you see an email + password field alongside the Continue with Google button, your company does not enforce Google SSO. Continue with the steps below.
If you only see the Continue with Google button with no email/password field, Google SSO is enforced at your company. Stop here — see How do I log into Tilt when my company enforces SSO?

Click Forgot password? on the login page.
Enter your work email address.
Check your work OR personal email inboxes. Tilt sends the reset email to both addresses on file.
Click the reset link and set a Tilt password.
Go back to the login page and sign in with your work email + your new Tilt password. Do NOT click Continue with Google.

What if it doesn't work

If the reset email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and try your personal email address.

Limits and exceptions

This only works if your company does NOT enforce Google SSO. If Google SSO is enforced, there is no email + password fallback in Tilt.
The Tilt password you set does not affect your Google account or your work Google login.
Even if your Google access is restored later, you can keep using your Tilt password going forward — you don't have to switch back to Google.
How to tell if Google SSO is enforced at your company: On the Tilt login page, an enforced-Google-SSO company shows only the Continue with Google button (no email/password field, no Forgot password? link). A non-enforced company shows email + password fields with a Continue with Google option.
