How do I log into Tilt when my company enforces SSO?

Company uses SSO? Skip the Tilt password entirely — sign in through your identity provider instead.

If your company enforces SSO through Okta, Azure, Google Workspace, or Rippling, you log into Tilt using your SSO credentials — not a Tilt password. Go to your company's Tilt login page, choose or wait for the SSO redirect, and complete sign-in through your identity provider.

Steps

  1. Go to your company's Tilt login page.
  2. What happens next depends on your identity provider:
    1. Google or Rippling: click the SSO button on the login page (for example, Sign in with Google or Sign in with Rippling).
    2. Okta, Azure, or another SAML SSO provider: Tilt will redirect you automatically to your provider's login screen. If you are not redirected, disable any third-party browser extensions that may be blocking the route, then reload the page.
  3. Complete sign-in through your identity provider.
  4. Once authenticated, you'll be redirected back to Tilt and logged in.

What if it doesn't work

  • Confirm with your IT or HR team that your identity provider email exactly matches the email they used to register you in Tilt.
  • If your company revoked your identity provider access (for example, during leave), you have lost access to Tilt. Work with your HR or IT team to restore identity provider access.

Limits and exceptions

  • If SSO is enforced, there is no email + password fallback within Tilt. You must have working identity provider access.
  • If your identity provider access is revoked, Tilt cannot restore access on its own — your HR or IT team must restore it.
