How do I reset my Tilt password?

Quick answer

Click Forgot password? on your company's Tilt login page. Tilt emails a reset link to both your work and personal email addresses on file so you can set a new password.

Who this applies to / Prerequisites

• You log into Tilt with email and password (not enforced SSO).
• Your Tilt account is activated.

Steps

1. Go to your company's Tilt login page. If you don't know your company's subdomain, see How do I find my company's Tilt login URL?
2. Click Forgot password? on the login page.
3. Enter your work email address and click Submit.
4. Check your inbox. Tilt sends the reset email to both your work and personal email addresses on file.
5. Click the reset link and enter a new password.
6. Log into Tilt with your work email and the new password.

What if it doesn't work

• Check your spam and junk folders.
• Try your personal email address if you don't see the reset email at your work address.
• Contact your HR team to confirm the email address associated with your Tilt account.
• If your company enforces SSO, the Forgot password? flow will not work. See How do I log into Tilt when my company uses SSO?

Limits and exceptions

• The Forgot password? flow also works if you have never set a password before — you can use it in place of the Activate Account link.
• If you login using email + password (not enforced SSO), Tilt will use your login email as your username to identify you.
• If you lose access to your work email while on leave, the reset email still goes to your personal email address on file. You will still log in with your work email, but you can complete the reset from your personal inbox.
• If you're already logged in and just want to change your password (not reset a forgotten one), click your account icon in the top-right corner and open the Password tab.
