What automated emails will I get from Tilt about my leave?
From activation to your last day of leave — every automated email Tilt sends, and who gets it.
Quick answer
Tilt automatically sends emails to keep you informed about a leave — including account activation, reminders to complete the leave form, status updates, date changes, pay updates, and reminders as the leave approaches, starts, and ends.
The emails you receive depend on your role (Employee, Manager, or Payroll user).
Who this applies to / Prerequisites
- Your company is on Tilt Premium Support. Tilt SaaS customers receive a different set of automated emails — see your Customer Success Manager for the SaaS email list.
- You have a Tilt account as an Employee, Manager, or Payroll user.
- Your company or an employee at your company has an active leave in Tilt.

What if it doesn't work
- If you're not receiving Tilt emails, check your spam or junk folder.
- Confirm your email address is current in Tilt. Contact your HR team if it needs to be updated.
- If you receive an email that seems inaccurate (like a leave-started reminder when your leave hasn't started), contact your Leave Specialist.
Limits and exceptions
- Product tier matters. The emails in this article apply to Tilt Premium Support only. If your company is on Tilt SaaS, your automated email list will differ. If you're not sure which product tier your company uses, ask your HR team or your Customer Success Manager.
- Automated emails are triggered by specific events (leave initiation, form completion, dates hit, etc.). They can't be turned off individually.
- Which emails you receive depends on your role — Employees, Managers, and Payroll users each get a different subset.
- These are automated platform emails only. Personal communications from your Leave Specialist come separately.
